2012 ILTA Technology Survey Ranks IntApp Wall Builder
By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor
An independent survey by the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) has stated that IntApp’s Wall Builder continues to build market momentum. The Wall Builder gets considerable product adoption from large and mid-sized law firms.
With a centralized solution that offers law firms unprecedented features and control, Wall Builder from IntApp replaces distributed, ad hoc approaches to information security. To ensure wall maintenance and firm compliance, it provides real-time enforcement and also automatically updates access rights in response to staff behavior.
ILTA’s 2012 Technology Survey shows responses obtained from more than 485 law firms. This report consists of more than 90,000 lawyers and more than 200,000 total users. According to the report data, a huge majority of firms that make use of commercial software to enforce ethical screens and secure internal access to confidential information have been using IntApp Wall Builder.
Wall Builder extends protection beyond document management libraries. It also locks down other important repositories where sensitive information is stored.
“This is the fourth straight year we’ve seen independent, third-party ILTA data confirm Wall Builder’s position as the most adopted product by mid-sized and large law firms,” said Pat Archbold, head of IntApp’s Risk Practice Group. “Surveys like these are just one of several indicators of our continuing momentum, the most important of which are our growing customer roster and growing record of swift and successful product implementations.”
In 2011, the company announced that its Web-based information security and confidentiality management software application, Wall Builder was selected by its 100th law firm customer.
According to the company, the software is being utilized to manage security controls for more than 1.5 billion documents all over the world. The companies make use of Wall Builder to centrally control, monitor and report on user access permissions across various applications.
