By Nathesh, TMCnet Contributor
The Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company will now be able to effectively and appropriately pay for legal services with the aid of Bottomline Technologies’ (News - Alert) Legal eXchange, a legal invoice automation solution.
Joseph Centanni, vice president of claims at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company commented, “We chose Bottomline as a partner for three simple reasons. Most importantly, we required a responsive and consultative partner who would help us to efficiently and appropriately manage our legal spend. And, as a very complex business, we needed a highly configurable solution. Last but not least, we were looking to partner with an established industry leader. Bottomline checked all those boxes.”
Bottomline claimed that it delivers best-in-class transaction banking solutions for financial institutions around the globe and it owns the largest and fastest growing settlement network.
With the legal spend management and reporting functionality built into the Legal eXchange solution, one can take control of their legal spend, enhance litigation management processes, maximize efficiency, quicken decision making and realize successful case outcomes.
The solution features the support of a network of more than 11,000 law firms and is as of now helping many major property and casualty insurers to invoice, budget and report on their outside legal counsel via the Web. It is a web-based solution meaning that there is no strain on users’ IT resources. The intended results the solution offered to its clients are stated to be of greater efficiency and better litigation time and spend management.
Bottomline added that it is pleased to call the Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company a partner and by helping Nationwide’s innovation, it is fueling its own quest for excellence, positioning both the companies for mutual success.
In related news, Bottomline Technologies was present at the Deutsche Bank Technology conference and Bottomline’s WebSeries was honored as a ‘Best in Class’ in payables automation technology assessment.
